Nearly 10,000 New Jersey rail workers will receive terrorism awareness training paid for by the federal government. "The program is funded with a $9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Transit Security Grant Program," according to the Associated Press. "NJ Transit says the training is designed to teach front line employees how to quickly recognize potential high-risk individuals through 'observation and assessment' of their behavior.
Glad to see that NJ is taking transportation security seriously.
